Reloaded One Time Too Many

These are two different caliber casings suffering from the same problem. The casing on the left is a wildcat cartridge based on the .270 Weatherby magnum necked down to 6MM. The other is a .30-06 casing. Both were reloaded near maximum one time too many. The primer pocket on both has swollen to the point that the primer was too loose a fit in the pocket and when the round was fired high pressure gas escaped around the primer. Again no harm came to the gun but the shooter (me ) got singed eye brows and carbon face. Always were shooting glasses when firing any weapon !!!
